How Does It Work

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING AND AFTER TREATMENT
It is comforting to know what you will experience during and after your treatments.
During your treatments, you will be asked to wear protective goggles. An ultrasound gel covers the treatment area.
You may feel a stinging sensation or some people have described it to that of a rubber band snapping against the skin. Most people tolerate the procedures better than waxing or electrolysis.
The treatment involves a series of impulses, that are prickling and a slight burning sensation. You also might detect the smell of singed hair, which is nothing to worry about. The procedures can take a few minutes to several hours depending on the work you are having.
After Laser Hair Removal, you may experience brief swelling and redness. Some slight stinging (like a mild sunburn) and maybe slight crusting of the skin where the hair follicles singe. You can return to your normal routine immediately, though you should avoid direct sun exposure and continue to avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for several weeks after.
We also recommend to avoid exercising or strenuous activities for the first 24-48 hours as perspiring can cause increased irritation. Its important to be careful when touching the treated areas: don't rub or scrub it, wax or pluck hairs. Keep it dry and clean. Gently wash with soap and water.
